Yemeni Coast Guard’s Brigadier General Ali Rassa hosts visiting U.S. Vice Admiral (VADM) Brian Peterman

Recently Vice Admiral Brian Peterman, U.S. Commander of Coast Guard Atlantic Area, paid a visit to Yemen to review the U.S.-Yemeni collaboration.
VADM Peterman, U.S. Commander of Coast Guard Atlantic Area, met Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Rashaad Al-Alimi and BG Ali Rassa, Chairman of the Yemeni Coast Guard Authority. They discussed ways of expanding U.S.-Yemeni cooperation in the areas of counterterrorism, crisis management, piracy, and organized crime.
During his visit in Sana’a, he discussed ongoing cooperation in training Yemeni Coast Guard personnel and ways of increasing U.S. assistance to the Yemeni Coast Guard in the coming two years. Vice Admiral Brian Peterman also visited Aden and toured port facilities.
