An item resembling an explosive device was recently found at the residence of a US Embassy employee. If you notice any suspicious items in your home, office, hotel, or any public area, do not handle it or use a mobile phone in the immediate vicinity. Instead, leave the area and contact the local police and the Regional Security Officer by calling (967)(1)755-2170. If any additional information concerning the event affects the security of the US Embassy or the American citizen community, the Embassy will provide further reports.
