Gunfire in Southern Sanaa

The U.S. Embassy has reports of heavy, sustained gunfire in the area
near Shahran Hotel in southern Sanaa, near the mountains of Hadda
Village. U.S. Embassy personnel have been instructed to remain in
their residences and avoid the area until further notice.

The U.S. Embassy is located at Dhahr Himyar Zone, Sheraton Hotel
District, P.O. Box 22347. The telephone number of the Consular Section

(967)(1) 303-175. The after hours emergency number is (967)(1)
