Grant Opportunities
MEPI Small Grants
The MEPI Small Grants Program directly supports organizations at the “grassroots” or community level, and has established partnerships with a wide range of local civil society groups, including NGOs and universities, as they undertake reform projects and play an increasingly vital role in expanding political participation in their countries. Funding is available for local members of civil society to undertake local or national projects that increase political openness and democratic processes, create new economic opportunities, enhance access to and quality of education systems, and/or empower women. For a list of existing MEPI small grants, please visit MEPI’s Gulf region small grants page. Applications for the MEPI Small Grants Program are available in English and in Arabic.
Those interested in the program are welcome to submit applications throughout the year (email preferred: please send to ircsanaa@state.gov). Please feel free to contact us at ircsanaa@state.gov with any questions or comments related to the MEPI Small Grants Program.
