SANA’A, July 26 - Chargé d'affaires Angie Bryan was enthusiastically received as the guest speaker at the Yemeni-American Language Institute's (YALI) graduation ceremony on July 26. The ceremony was attended by the graduates, their families, and scores of YALI students and well-wishers. Ms. Bryan congratulated the graduates and underscored the importance of enhanced mutual understanding of each other’s cultures, religions, dreams and aspirations before presenting certificates to each of the twenty graduates.

YALI has offered English language education since 1975 and is the largest and most respected English language institute in Yemen. YALI has developed a rich and effective curriculum using well-known textbooks, challenging supplementary material, and rigorous tests. Students expand on their language and critical thinking skills in the most advanced levels, preparing them for the TOEFL test and college entry-level courses. Over two years of intensive coursework are required to graduate from YALI.
