On June 12, 2006, Ambassador Krajeski addressed the high school students of the local American school. The students asked the Ambassador questions about the “real” threat posed by terrorists in the wake of 9/11, whether the U.S. would do about Iran’s nuclear program if the latter were not a signatory to the Non-proliferation Treaty and whether he feels safe in Yemen. In turn, the Ambassador reviewed the principal programs of the U.S. Embassy in Sana’a including security cooperation, economic development and democratization work. The Ambassador also explained what an American must do to join the diplomatic service in the United States.
