MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAMS
The U.S. Department of State, through the U.S. Embassy and AMIDEAST, are pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for master's degree studies in the United States under the J. William Fulbright Scholarship Program. Applications are for Fulbright grants beginning August/September 2009. Fulbright grants provide funding for two years of master's degree study in the U.S. in all fields except engineering, computer science, medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy.
Qualified applicants must have:
- A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science (four or five-year degree) from an accredited institution awarded at least one year prior to application;
- Demonstrated ability to undertake advanced studies with "Very Good" or higher grade point average (Yemeni educational scale);
- At least two-years work experience for applicants to masters of business administration programs only.
- Strong English language skills.
Applicants must also be Yemeni citizens currently residing and working in Yemen.

Complete application submissions must include:
- 1. The Fulbright application, available at AMIDEAST/Yemen offices;
- 2. An International TOEFL® or ITP TOEFL® score of 550 (scores may not be older than 2 years from date of application);
- 3. Certified copies in English of all university transcripts and university diplomas; and
- 4. Three letters of recommendation in English from individuals familiar with the applicant's academic achievements.
- 5. A resume or C.V.
NOTE: Applicants who do not have a valid paper-based International TOEFL® score should contact AMIDEAST immediately to arrange for the ITP TOEFL® examination.
COMPLETED APPLICATION MUST BE RECEIVED AT AMIDEAST OFFICES IN ADEN, MUKALLA, OR SANA'A NO LATER THAN JUNE 11, 2008.
يسر وزارة خارجية الولايات المتحدة الامريكية، وعبرالسفارةالامريكية في صنعاء وبالتعاون مع منظمة امديست AMIDEAST ،ان تعلن عن فتح باب القبول لطلبات الترشيح لدراسة الماجستير في الولايات المتحدة الامريكية وذلك في اطار برنامج وليام فولبرايت Fulbright Scholarship Program. والتي يبداء في اغسطس / سبتمبر 2009. تقوم منح الفولبرايت بتوفير التمويل لمدة سنتين من الدراسه لدرجة الماجستير في الولايات المتحدة في جميع المجالات باستثناء الهندسه وعلوم الكمبيوتر ، والطب ، وطب الاسنان ، والصيدله.
على أن تتوفر في المتقدم الشروط التالية:
• ان يكون حاصلا على درجة البكالوريوس في الآداب او العلوم (اربع او خمس سنوات) من جامعات معتمدة وعلى ان يكون قد مضى عام على التخرج
• ان يكون حاصلا على تقدير "جيد جدا"
يجب على المتقدم ان يكون يمني الجنسية ومقيم حاليا في اليمن •

يجب على جميع الطلبات ان تتضمن الاتي:
• استمارة التقديم )متوفرة في جميع مكاتب امديست)
• امتحان التوفل TOEFL بتقدير 550.
نسخ (معمدة) من الشهادة الجامعية باللغه الانجليزيه•
• ثلاث رسائل توصية باللغه الانجليزيه من افراد على درايه بالمستوى الاكاديمي لمقدم الطلب.
على مقدمي الطلبات الغير حاصلين على شهادة التوفل الدولي الاتصال على الفور بمنظمة امديست من اجل الترتيب لامتحان توفل.
تقدم الطلبات الى مكاتب امديست في عدن والمكلا وصنعاء في موعد لا يتجاوز 11 حزيران / يونيو 2008
