STATEMENT BY THE GROUP OF TEN AMBASSADORS

 Ambassadors of the five Permanent Members of the Security Council and the Gulf Cooperation Council resident in Sana’a, and the Head of the European Union Delegation, utterly condemn the violent attack in Sana’a which resulted in the death and injury of so many Yemeni servicemen. We are saddened by the scale of loss of life and pass our condolences to the families, friends and colleagues of the victims.

 This cowardly act of violence must not detract from the programme of reform and progress towards political transition. The Group of Ten Ambassadors reiterate their support for President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi and his government as they lead the nation towards a more secure and stable future.
