FBI Director Robert Mueller Visits Yemen

On April 24, Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Robert Mueller visited Yemen for meetings with senior Yemeni officials to discuss U.S. and international assistance in the areas of rule of law and law enforcement. Director Mueller praised the National Consensus Government’s efforts to combat international crime, smuggling, and terrorism, and pledged to support those efforts. Director Mueller met with President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abu Bakr al-Qirbi, Minister of Interior Dr. Abdulqader Qahtan, and Minister of Legal Affairs Dr. Mohamed al Makhlafi.
